Are there any known good or bad brands of pueria muerifica? I’ve heard of people using Swanson I think? Is that the best quality? What about these others from Amazon? Are they good or bad? I’ve been using the Carlisle brand one and had no ill effects, but not sure if it’s having much or any effect after a couple months so I was thinking of trying another brand. Thanks for any advice.
The best brand seems to be Ainterol, but their .com website is down and I don't know where you can buy it from now. Maybe some other user on this chat knows where to get them.
The rule is: avoid extracts. Look for "pure ground Pueraria Mirifica root". Extracts work for very few people and there is confusion on the dosage, while pure ground root seems to work a lot better.
Thank you for the info, I think I understand a bit more now. The stuff on Amazon says “Pueraria Mirifica (root) 1,000 mg (1 g) * (from 100 mg of 10:1 extract).” so I guess it’s not really potent enough to do much? I went to Ainterol’s site and had no issue with it working. But I noticed on their PM it says “Content: CO2 Pueraria Mirifica Extract Powder & 20 years grown Pueraria Mirifica root powder”. It also mentions the word extract, but it seems different on the numbers and percentages of what it is made from. I’m not sure I fully understand how it’s better, but if people have had good results with it then it must be better so I will order theirs vs the Amazon junk.
What about these from “Purafem”? On their description it says something about not to trust the products that are 1/10 of the potency and theirs is pure extract.
I've used Purafem. I don't consider it "bad", it's just that it's an extract.
Probably best to go for a raw ground root powder in capsule, as you've been told.
Have a look on ebay?
The ones I've used on ebay are: Pueraria Mirifica UK, and Pure Miracle, and earth_magic's capsules.
Loei if you can find it maybe. That one seems to be direct from Thailand but I found it once or twice on ebay.
