Question for Isabelle ?

#1

I am taking Turmeric daily now which works extremely well for an inflammatory condition I suffer from,

Remember you saying that Turmeric can be a progesterone ?

Will this help or hinder PM in your view ?

Hi Julie,

Turmeric is a phyto-progestin, yes. Cortisol is made from progesterone. Cortisol suppresses inflammation. So that's how what you are doing works.

Be extra careful with carbs now. Cortisol also helps insulin deposit a "spare tyre" around your waist.

Estrogens from PM suppress cortisol. So if you take too much PM, the anti-inflammatory effect may be less.

Wahaika writes progesterone "stops NBE dead in its tracks". If you see no growth, try cycling: two weeks low PM, high turmeric, then two weeks high PM, low turmeric.
