Welcome to the site, Salania. For me the obvious advantage of pills is that I can't spill them into a puddle. 
Joking aside, one would think that drops would be better especially if taken sublingually (under the tongue) because that way they avoid the digestive tract, have a more direct path to the bloodstream and put less stress on the liver. But someone in here said that that is not a correct premise, saying that PM works better being digested and processed by the liver. I am always learning in here.
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will enlighten us both.
