Hi D,
you asked for an opinion, so I'll give it - it's my personal opinion so don't shoot me!
I think what you are proposing will seriously endanger your relationship with your partner. Before you do this, make very sure that she will be perfectly happy if you wind up losing the ability to penetrate her.
I say this because you said you do not want SRS. I realise that you are lucky enough to have a partner who is presumably bisexual and wants you fully feminised, so maybe she won't mind if your relationship becomes lesbian in every way - but you need to be very sure that she is prepared to lose your penis before you embark on this road.
Pharma hormone therapy is intended for the true TS who ultimately intends to transition - it is not intended for partial transition. These exist, but the therapy isn't planned for that. The estrogen doses you will take if you keep testicular function will need to be so strong that you will risk blood clots. The usual deal is either a powerful anti-androgen (Spironolactone) or ultimately, orchiectomy. Spironolactone can adversely affect your heart function.
I'm curious about the phrase "full body feminization which herbs cannot do". What does this mean? PM is a relatively safe estrogen mimic. You won't get any quicker breast growth with Premarin unless you turn off your testicles, chemically or with a knife. Even then a real girl takes 3 years at least - you will still need to wait that long. Estrogen won't grow your hip bones or reduce your shoulder width - but it will lay down fat on your hips and butt - but so does PM - it has on me!
Impatience could mean death, but almost certainly means misery.
Are you intending to get these powerful medicines without seeing a gender counsellor, doctors, blood work and close monitoring? If so, you might want to while away a few hours playing Russian Roulette.
If you do go the gender counsellor route and tell them that you want to keep penis function, they are unlikely to help you (they have a tick-box mentality - TS = SRS), so bear that in mind.
If you want to disregard everything I've said up to now, at least read this.
So you want to be a T Girl
It's a few years old now, and doesn't mention herbs, it was also before a lot of TG-friendly laws were passed, but it was written by someone who walked the walk, and the info on drugs and transition will still be relevant.
I had a look at it recently, and it really rammed home to me that my firm decision never to contemplate transition was a good one.
My strong advice is to give yourself a year on PM. I'm coming up to 9 months, and, although I no longer want to grow breasts, I have a good couple of handfuls ( I take it for mental therapy).
I have to wear compression vests under T-shirts now, and they are starting to poke through my work shirts... not enough to "out" me, but I think when my year comes up next September, I'll be wearing compression vests to work. As I alluded to earlier, I've got substantial deposits of fat around my "male" waist (hips) and on my backside - and a quite recognisable female waist just below my ribs.
Please, give yourself time and don't do anything rash. Please read the website before you commit yourself. I think you have a great deal to research.
