Starting fresh, freshly confused

#1

Alright, I've been on a PM-only regime for several months. I saw a small but noticeable amount of growth, and was happy with how things were progressing. Then I found myself out of PM (I thought I had another bottle, but was wrong), and in a position where I couldn't order more for a couple weeks. I decided to look on the bright side and see this unintended break as a chance to start anew, maybe try adding something else to my regime to help healthy development.

Unfortunately, as with every time I come here, all I've managed to do is confuse myself. There's an ocean of information here, with undercurrents of opinion, and I'm adrift in the middle of it. A small boat with one oar, a tattered map but no compass, and not a sailor by any stretch of the imagination!

Sorry for waxing poetic, but I am pretty lost. I'll admit that part of that might be from the fact that I'm half asleep as I write this, but still!

The first thing I tried looking into was D-Aspartic-Acid. I remember a thread here that talked about it, and said it would supplement PM nicely. Has this been confirmed? Busted? If it's a good idea, does brand matter?

After that, I tried looking up some stuff here on Progesterone, since I remember that being among the suggestions I'd received during my last couple visits. I found that most mentionings of progesterone were as progesterone cream. I disregarded them at first, since I'd rather stick with easily-handled supplements than a potentially messy topical cream. But the more I read, the more it seemed like this was the better option for some reason. Then I read about someone applying it on their lower back, or even their wrists! That really got me confused. I also found a couple people saying Progesterone is best used after a year or two of estrogen-only growth. I'm... not sure where to even begin asking questions here. Can I just put a huge question mark after this paragraph and call it all one big question?

I'm sorry if I'm not entirely coherent, or if I rambled a bit too much. Like I said, I'm half-asleep... I'll be placing my order for more PM right after I post this, then going to bed. If worse comes to worst, I can re-start my PM-only regime.

Hello Alo.

I'm not familiar with D-Aspartic-Acid, much less whether it's a good supplement with pm. With me I take calcium supplements and PABA with pm.

Seeing as how I've used progesterone cream on both my wrists and lower back, I might be able to clarify your confusion on this matter. The reason why I don't apply it to my breasts is I use it as a balancing agent for the pm I take. It doesn't directly encourage breast growth, rather it helps with balancing the estrogen levels needed to growth breasts.

I previously applied the progesterone cream to my wrists for rapid absorption. As Isabelle mentioned in one of my threads, you'll want to apply the progesterone cream in a place where you have a thin level of skin to increase the amount of progesterone your body absorbs. I apply it now to my lower back because I was experiencing discomfort there back when I was taking 3,000 mg of pm. If I remember correctly, Isabelle suggested applying it wherever I was experiencing symptoms.

I think the reason why some people suggest using progesterone only after a year or two of estrogen-growth is because of what I say earlier about progesterone being a counterbalancing agent. If you experience estrogen dominant symptoms, adding progesterone cream may be useful. If you continue to get breast growth and have no estrogen dominant symptoms, you may not need to add progesterone into your NBE regime.

If it helps any, keep in mind self-experimentation is a big aspect of NBE. Yes, there are more standardized breast growth products online but they tend to be quite expensive and there's no guarantee they'll work for you. Besides economic savings, I think the big advantage with a do-it-yourself NBE regime is it's easy to fine-tune and tinker around with it if your breast growth is stalling.

I think typically people making changes when their breast growth has stalled or have experienced side-effects. So long as you're happy with the progress you're getting with pm and are not experiencing any side-effects, I don't think there's any need to change your regime.

Earlier this year I tried DAA for about 6 weeks. It did not do much of anything for my boobs, and was bad for my mental state. I know I won't be trying it again.

Hi,
I'm not sure what DAA is supposed to achieve, and I've never tried it, so can't help with that one.

The reason for not using progesterone cream to begin with is that progesterone develops the ducts and glands and fills them out, producing the rounded shape of the mature breast. Logically you can't fill something out, until you've grown it in the first place, so in the early days its a waste of money as far as actual growth is concerned. I can't speak for the estrogen counterbalance effect.

There are two schools of thought about where to apply it. One says NEVER apply it to the breast themselves ( I dont understand why) and another says it's the breasts that want it so that's where you put it for max effect - personally it did nothing for me wherever I applied it, but then again that could be because I was applying it too soon, in contradiction of my own philosophy!

Bottom line is, if what you are doing ain't broke, don't try to fix it. If it is broken, then you need to experiment for yourself to see what works for you, because we are all different.

Thank you for the fast responses!

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" seems like the policy to go with, here, so I will just be going back to my PM-only for now. If/when things start to stall out, though, you can bet I'll be back! It's just so hard to tell when the growth is so slow...

Anywho, if I remember correctly, D-Aspartic Acid supposedly boosts Testosterone, and PM would be able to convert the extra Testosterone into Estrogen... Or something like that. I'm really not at all sure. Trying to understand all the biochemistry going on makes my head spin a little... But if someone's tried it with no noticeable benefit, I'll pass on it.

I think that's why it's a good idea to upload pictures here every now and then to get second opinions.

I think another good policy is trying to keep your NBE regime as simple as possible. That way, it's much easier to identify what works for you and what doesn't, as well as figuring out the source of any side-effects you may experience.

You just wanna see my boobies. Tongue

But yes, that is a good idea. I have a couple pictures from before I started, so I'll see about taking a couple pictures of me now for my "pre-second start" reference, too. I'll upload them all here once I get them taken.

lol. Big Grin

That's an interesting way of looking at it. It is nice though to be able to compare my progress with others and get feedback and such.

Hehe! You're fine. I like showing off, though I get very few chances to do so... Blush

Here's some pictures. The 00 ones are from before I started my initial run (Pardon all the hair! Blush ).

And here's the ones from today, since the site won't let me attach more than two things to one post... =\
