How much PM is safe?

#1

I'm currently taking 2x500mg in the morning and 2x500mg at night. I also take 2x300mg SP at the same time. Would it be safe to up my PM dose? I was thinking of going to 3x500mg at night and maybe an extra 1x500mg during the day and staying with the 2x500mg in the morning.
So far I'm had good results with my regimen, I'm just looking to get a bit more out of it.

Hello michelle.

I currently take 2,500 mg of pm. The highest I've taken is 3,000 mg.

Since you're getting good results with your regime, I don't think increasing your pm dosage is necessary and it may even be counter-productive and more expensive in the long-run. Keep in mind your body sets the limit as to how fast your breasts will grow. Taking more pm won't put your body into overtime for growing breasts if your body is already operating at an optimal speed for growth. More is not always better when it comes to NBE herbs.

If you do decide to increase your pm dosage, I recommend doing it slowly . A schedule I recommend for ramping up your dosage is 500mg every week. Not only is it important to monitor how effective each higher dose is, it's possible you might experience estrogen dominant symptoms and other side-effects as you increase your pm dosage. It's no fun getting headaches and backaches from having too pm in your system.

Just thought I'd throw in some experiences. I have suffered from backache in the past, but it tends to happen when I take a dose at bedtime. Since it manifests around the kidney area, I thought it might be because I'm taking the pills just before I go 6-8 hours without drinking anything. I've actually taken 5g on several occasions as 5 x (2 x 500mg) at 3 hr intervals from 8am - 8pm with no ill effects apart from a growth spurt! ;-) (not an ill effect to most readers) Finishing at 8pm give it tie to flush out of my kidneys before bedtime (I'm assuming)... at least, doing it that way means far fewer back symptoms.

I don't mean to recommend a high dosage - just to explain that some people can kickstart the process that way.

This makes sense. Even if I didn't experience any side-effects, I would still hesitate taking as high a dose as 5,000 mg. At that rate, I would be going through one Ainterol pm bottle in just ten days! Sad

As flamesabers said, there is no real point in taking more than the body can use, it won't increase the rate of growth and it could very well go into a stall situation and actually be a negative.

There was another thread recently suggesting that natural daily E production in a female peaks at around 7am and by pure coincidence, about a month ago for reasons of convenience, I was taking 2x500m at about 7am and 1x500mg at 7pm. My 'normal dose has always been 2x (2x500mg) per day, so I altered it to 3x500mg at 7am and 1 x500mg at 7pm, and sure enough by about 8am I was very aware of my breasts rubbing on the inside of my shirt, in a different way to previously. This effect still happens every day, although whether there is any actual growth increase is too early to say.

I don't disagree... obviously it will vary per person. It seems like my body can use quite a bit.

There have been days when, for one reason or another, I've needed to take that many for GID reasons, which has resulted in a significant spurt. I've given up worrying about them showing now anyway! Smile

Regarding growth, I'm not the only one who reacts to high dosage. See this post by Chrissie, who used 4g/day to kickstart. http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=5331&pid=14578#pid14578

I suppose it could be age related, too. Maybe late starters need more? It's all a bit of a black art with no scientific studies going on - who'd fund them ? Big Grin

Maybe somebody your body is building up a tolerance for pm?

I would expect the opposite considering the decline in testosterone levels as you get older. If there is a correlation between age and needing more pm, perhaps the reason would be the older you get the less efficient the body metabolizes pm?

Maybe one of us could win the lottery and use the money to fund the scientific studies. Tongue If some rich person would fund a scientific study involving pm, I imagine it would be someone who wants to figure out all the details as to why and how males develop breasts. A viable scientific study I think is figuring out how to diagnosis and prevent gynecomastia before surgery is required. If science determines all the details with this, the data can also be used to stimulate breast growth in genetic males. Big Grin

I tend to agree with Bryony on this point and I think the T level may be not overly relevant in this regard.
I suspect that it is simply that, with age, the body loses the ability to grow/regenerate tissue with any speed. So trying to kick start and then maintain a growth process that is alien to begin with and at a time in life when for GG's the end result is actually diminishing not increasing, means we have to do double or triple or even more.

With age comes the decreased efficiency of the pituitary system. The pituitary's function is to build and rebuild our cells (rejuvination). That is why I've added HGH in amino acid form to my NBE regimen. I have also considered using the pituitary glandulars from Swanson's in lieu of the HGH, just as a change of pace.

Wow, I never thought of using high doses short-term to kick-start growth. I think I'm going to try this next month. Smile
Sometimes people who don't respond to high doses also have digestion issues. This may be why older people have more trouble responding to normal doses. As we age, our body starts to produce less and less stomach acid. So if you already have below-average levels of stomach acid, it will only become more problematic as time goes on.

I have VERY low HCl (stomach acid), and it's only gotten worse the past few months because I've been flooding my system with protein it can't absorb. I think this is why my body sometimes doesn't respond to herbs at all, and why this 1,000mg a day dose of PM isn't really doing much for me besides nipple sensitivity. I should increase my dose next month anyway, but will probably try a kick-start dose before dropping down to 1,500mg a day. I really hope I don't need much more than that, but who knows.
(My post on low stomach acid)

Most women don't seem to go over 1,000mg a day, and many respond to just 500mg, but I know I need more than most women, even now that I'm absorbing nutrients from herbs. I'm actually surprised that I responded so well to somewhat low doses of FG and RC, but not PM.
