Hi, all,
I'm posting this thread in this section since most of the users that will read this section are male (at least genetically) and are most at risk.
I sent a PM and email to Eve earlier but it will likely be several hours yet before she even has a chance to look over the messages.
In my profession (senior management IT) I have had to deal with instances involving the FBI when inappropriate material was located on company systems or transported via company provided Internet.
There was a post earlier today from a young lady named "Ashlee". She posted a photo of herself. If she is the age she claims to be (16) then this photo would be considered "child pornography" by the US FBI, International Law, and probably the laws of most (if not all) developed nations.
It's important for everyone who viewed the photo to permanently delete it from your browser's cache. If you haven't viewed it, I strongly suggest you do not open the message. I may sound paranoid here but believe me, if the FBI or similar agency decides to pursue such a case they will absolutely parse through every file on any machine they suspect may contain the illegal material. The law enforcement community is deadly serious about this and having the material "innocently" is not protective.
It's up to Eve to decide how to handle Ashlee's posts and the replies. I'm just suggesting that everyone here be careful (especially the genetic men).
Thanks for listening...
Misty
