I have heard that wearing a bra slows breast development. I feel sure that there is no definitive scientific study on this, but also feel sure that there are opinions, and I would very much like to hear other folks thoughts on the matter.
For me, I enjoy wearing a bra - and am not shy about others noticing. It somehow makes me feel more feminine. I'm not to the point that I need a bra for support, but it does help protect my sensitive areas.
Perhaps it says something about my gender identification - I really don't know, and don't care to get too deeply into analysis, but wondered if my wearing a bra will slow things down.
Thanks!

freddy,
I'd say let them loose, they want to be free, that's just my opinion,I don't have one yet!...but I've heard the same thing about slowing the growth.Maybe the fact when I see the deep red marks after the bra comes off I have second thoughts of having one.And yes,I understand all the other rationale as well,so holster your weapons please!

Ps.I love lingerie, just more on other people!!

In my opinion most bras aren't good for your breasts most bras are poor quality and badly fitted certain styles crush the breasts into unnatural positions like most pushups or heavy padded bras which can damage the breast shape.
But there are some bras that can improve breast shape they are normally really expensive like the bradelis 3step there are other cheaper similar bras normally Asian that gather and hold the fat to the breast.
Sizing is another important one that nearly all women get wrong the band should fit very tightly you shouldnt be able to fit more than a few fingers under it and the cups should hold the breasts without digging in where the cup ends you should wear it so there's no back fat lines this could mean a few things the band is too high and loose or its a badly designed bra so breast fat is being pushed out of the cups.
So unless your bras are perfectly fitting and well made its much more healthy to go braless I do because I can never find well fitting bras i have over a d cup and they are still perky there are studies that show not wearing a bra improves sagging and stretch marks but some people have good results with bradelis so I am sure not all bras are bad just most.

Thanks for the reply, Lotus and Bonita. I appreciate your thoughts.
I'm not quite sure what it is that I like about wearing a bra. Perhaps it is that it reminds me of my feminine side, which is becoming more and more pronounced.
Wearing a bra is one of the many things I do to remind myself of my femininity. I always wear panties, and use what is considered a feminine deodorant, as well as promote my breast growth with PM. I don't want to slow down the breast growth, but I do love the feel of a bra!
Thanks gain.

Maybe it'd be okay if you wore a bra that's at least half a cup size too big so they have room to grow, that way, you can get your bra wearing wishes met and, at the same time, not "crush" the girls while they're growing. Then, once you feel they've gone as big as they can, start wearing the right cup size.

Lenneth,
Interesting reading, but I get the feeling it's fairly biased toward "let 'em all hang out"!! I remember some of the girls of the "burn the bra" movement, and it wasn't pretty!! It depends a lot on breast size and weight, types and duration of physical activities, etc.
Say what one will, I have never found breasts that level off at about the lower level of the ribcage to be very attractive. One thing that every site that mentions drooping or sagging will agree on is that it is irreversible. Surgery will help, but not completely restore it.
I'm also not sure just how much of this would apply to us "fellas", as the only coopers ligament we have is below and behind a much lower-located appendage. Does this mean that with comparably sized breasts a male would sag faster or slower than a female?
Just curious. For the time being, I believe I'll keep wearing one as often as I can. Passing the pencil test doesn't just mean one has nice sized boobs, it also indicates a bit of sag. But, maybe we actually have better support muscles??

Yes, I was also wandering that.
There must be some benefit to wearing the bra, otherwise why do so many ladies, and trans people wear them?

because society teaches that wearing a bra is the right thing to do.

Because it keeps them from bouncing and sloshing around under our shirts which certain people think is rude. What'd they do before the bra was invented about 100 years ago??
"Oh, my lord, young lady, your tits really bounce around!! That's DISGRACEFUL!! You REALLY should do something about that!!"
"Sorry, grandma, there's nothing I CAN do, bras haven't been invented yet!"
