Got my order of Purafem in (let's get this started and see where it goes)

Rather than impeded urine flow, my recent experience while taking PM has been just the opposite, but there have been other factors at work. I'm becoming increasingly convinced that the symptoms I have experienced attributed to BPH are actually caused primarily by bladder stones rather than prostate enlargement. Since starting to take oxybutynin some months ago my urine flow has been as good as I can ever remember, and the passage of a very large stone is inconsistent with any constriction of my urethra by my prostate. What PM doe seem to have achieved in conjunction with low T is the reduction of my PSA count to near zero. PM is supposed to be "prostate friendly", but it is possible that, like an enlarged prostate, it can have some effect on the detrusor muscle that lines your bladder and which controls the sphincter at the entrance to your urethra. Oxybutynin damps spasm of the detrusor muscle aka overactive bladder. It is my experience that an overactive bladder tends to be reflected in an 'overactive' (but not necessarily productive) rectum if there is such a thing.

I damaged my back on a summer job when I was 19, and have suffered from back aches from time to time ever since. I have wondered whether some of the recent ones may have been caused by PM, but hve no convincing evidence. Other PM experiences both physical and mental have been noticeable and positive.

Best of luck on your journey!

one other possibility.

the back pain I have had came from my kidneys, perhaps PM has a side benefit of loosening & flushing kidney stones out of our systems.
(the "benefit" being getting rid of the stones early before they get real painful.)

it could explain both the back pain and the reduced urine flow.

A lot of the symptoms have subsided. The back pain isn't really an issue anymore (I will get uncomfortable sitting in one position quicker, however,) my irritability has leveled off (I've always had a short fuse, and now I am MUCH more patient and just happy with life,) and urine flow is actually decent (at least when I am sitting.) I have noticed much more frequency in needing to urinate, and it's usually darker, even though I have been trying to drink more water. As for the poo, I just seems like more of a constant feeling like I have to go, but I don't always. I does feel as though my prostate is enlarged, as I checked it to see if it may be a cause for the urine flow.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. It is really appreciated and helpful. I'm not 100% sure how far I am going to go with this yet, but I figure if anything, doing all of this will certainly give me a very good foundation of knowledge and breast tissue to build off should I decide to continue. Again, thank you, everyone!

I also meant to put some pictures up that I took the other day, but they must have been deleted by accident. I have another post on here that I will pull pictures from to show where I am basically starting at.

So here are the pics from my other post:

The only difference now is that I have not been shaving, so I have some hair again now. Not a fan, but I hope it starts to thin and go away on it's own through all of this.

So I've been finding my cravings to become more of a woman increasing. I have also been finding myself craving to take more PM. My drive has certainly diminished a bit. Usually I have had the craving to masturbate it have sex at once at least every other day, but that has really lowered.

So could this new happiness with life in general, wanting to be more female, and craving to take more PM be from relief from disphoric symptom elimination? I want breasts not more than ever!

When taking PM, the desire to transition, from my observations here, is like adding weight to a titer totter - it's going to tip in one direction or the other but rarely stay the same. You might try increasing or decreasing your dose for a couple weeks to see if that changes your desires. It can be a bit of a balancing act. As for your libido, I'm not surprised that it went down. Many experience the same thing. Porn and masturbation become less of a, "must have" and more, "I'll take it if it's offered". I predict your euphoria with starting NBE will eventually wane. There's something exciting about dumping estrogen's into your body when you've always wanted to be female but that thrill doesn't necessarily last forever.

Funny thing, I actually just noticed this morning that my left breast has actually gotten bigger than my right. It is definitely noticeable when I arch back forward a bit and let my shoulders relax. The left one really hangs lower and rounder. I've also noticed that when I pull the up and let them fall that they jiggle more, and it feels like more mass is in them both. So a little progress that it's surely welcome!

I think my nipples have become a bit more sensitive. I know if I give them a small pinch that I can feel a sensation continue to linger. I honestly wish I could just go do HRT and really get things moving, but that is not in my cards right now.

I can definitely say that breast and nipple play has really added a lot more to sexual arousal. Waiting to see more results, but I think my nipples may be beginning to get a little larger and poke out just a bit more.

Ooooh! I have noticed that there is a patch on the lower right quadrant of my right breast that seems to have began to growing out a bit! It feels much softer than the other parts, and really does have that boob consistency feel to it! I'd try and take a picture, but you probably wouldn't see it very well.

Anyway....Big Grin
