I am a male who thought he wanted to take this journey into NBE. I had used Natureday products and got on the herbal train with PM about 2 weeks ago. I had been so eager to get started I took the jumpstart route and did 1500mg for a day or so but since i had used basic herbs before hand felt i had a foundation to ramp up and went to 3000mg a day for about 7-9 days. After noticing difficulty of function kicking in quickly I immediately stopped and realized this is not what I want to toy around with. And scared myself out of it and tossed the bottle. It has now been about 8 days since I took PM and my function is half assed at best. I can get it up but its not firm at all. I am really freaking out here, is this normal? Will it return to normal? Did I F my body up? I have a gf who I love and 1 main reason I quit it was I dont want there to be any secrets and live a secret life per say. But now I'm scared I have ruined a vital part of me that obviously helps keep relationships together (love making) Idk if this is the right place to post but I'm just seeking help...
I posted the thread below this one which is also why i quit because of the advice and info briefly given there. I do not want to do permanent damage, and breasts to me while would be nice are not worth the risks of permanently destroying my manhood and or relationship.

Calm down and put some time between you and the PM. The one thing you will learn if you read the posts here is that things don't happen over night. You may be doing more to inhibit yourself with your mind than you have done with the PM, so relax and wait.
I'm sure someone else will have much more to add, but you seem like a very impulsive person and a respect for even mild supplements might be a lesson you can take from this experience.

I am a very impulsive person, though I have pretty well controlled all of that except for this experience. I notice my member is thinner and more solid feeling as if theres no whatever it is that makes it soft when soft and seems its just the muscle/tisuse. I understand how it works in excessive doses but medicines from aspirin to anything never works on me on regular doses so I have always doubled the doses given to acquire what I needed for whatever it may be. I took the same self-advice here and read 1500 is a standard start point and doubled it to ensure it would be effective. And now I feel I have really screwed myself here. Google just points me to all the propecia victims who for years of not touching it still can't function at all. And it scares me a lot to think I have done the same to myself by taking such a high dose in a short amount of time. Kinda like I have permanently shocked my system. I hear stinging nettle works good in freeing up the free testosterone so I am going to my GNC in hopes they have it and see if i get any effective results by the weekend.
Do you think I have done permanent damage here? Or is nearing 10 days of lack of function after excessive levels and cold turkey quitting normal

ExcitedandNervous I can't tell you how your body will react to being off of PM, but I would not be in the camp of people that would tell you that you have permanent damage after only 2 weeks. If you are convinced that you've done permanent damage, I would suggest you forget the Internet advice and seek a doctor's determination.
I'm not a doctor, but I have experience with prescription drugs and supplements (Herbs and vitamins). If you can obtain a result from a chemical that alters your body chemistry, then the chances are good that after the proper amount of time without that chemical you can flush it out of your system.
If you are going to try a remedy without knowing the extent of the damage I urge you to go slow and at small doses. The cure might be worse than the disease.
I hope you're doing better soon.

Well you certainly are excited and most certainly nervous ,
as said
calm down
It is most unlikely you have done damage
and to help I had exactly the same in the first 2 weeks,
Your body reacts and shuts certain systems down,
Now after a 4 weeks of starting pm, I was walking around with almost a 24/7 erection and incredibly turned on and still am,
Again calm down and read the EXTENSIVE info on these boards
The problem with many new people is they jump in without reading the info that many on here go to great efforts to produce
Julie
ps
now dont worry, start slow and have little breaks

Thanks for the response, i get weary posting at times cause it seems the archive doesn't produce much life in comparison to the pictures. Good news I guess is its about day 9 or 10 since I hopped off 3000mg a day cold turkey and I am able to obtain an erection again through visual stimulation, though its not the strongest thing, it's progress. I am on Stinging Nettle, Horny Goat Weed (really wish they'd change the name of that feel like a perv buying it), and Zinc. Always took zinc, and when I dabbled in herbs before PM I had minor dysfunction and Stinging Nettle fixed it pretty quickly. Just scary to go almost 2 weeks and penis feels like rubber and is more hard (penis itself as if the soft tissue has hardened) and googling obviously sucks when people are trying to find good news cause all it points me to is people who have never saw an erection since losing it even in their 20's like me. Just praying and hoping my testosterone bounces back strong and I can regain my function in completion and normalcy and do some thorough reading as you say on the site to build some wealth of knowledge on what I'm doing.
As you said some new users just dive in and I obviously did just that. I see these people on here taking 3000+ a day and take no time to see exactly what it took for them to get to that dose I just went "ok guess thats what I'll take".
First week my erections were strong as redwood like you had said as well. But noticed that my penis itself the skin had become rubbery (only word i can think of to compare it to) was not soft and smooth and was really weird to me and thats when I stopped and unfortunately thats when my ED kicked in. My testis have regained significant size and though there seems to be no volume building in there far as semen but hopefully it all comes back soon.
Hope this isnt all tmi and hope I dont sound too spastic, i greatly do appreciate your time to respond thank you

You haven't done any permanent damage to your sex drive yet. However, if you think that the only key to a relationship is your sex drive, you still have a lot to learn about relationships. Plus, you don't need a redwood to satisfy a woman, and you don't need to get hard at the mere image of sexiness. it's much less embarrassing if you can control when your redwood makes an appearance.
You'll find that after you get past your sexual prime years it is much more important to have a good (non-sexual) relationship with the person you are with because that will carry you through the hard times, and deciding to grow breasts could be considered to be some of the hard times. And growing breasts does not come without side effects. Yes, it is possible to maintain function, but not at the level of just visual stimuli.
