Pronoun Preference

#1

Hello all.

I think this is especially relevant considering the recent creation of this subforum. Do you preferred to be referred as a he or she? Or does it not matter to you? I suppose this poll is primarily for when you're online. However, if you want, feel free to interject how you like to be referred to as in real life also.

My upper half says miss, the bottom however says mr., so I'm still not sure how to be addressed?.......oh wtf, call me Miss Lotus. Cool

Does that mean I should change my username now?

In the real world I can't present as a woman, but here it's possible. So, I gave myself a female name, Clara Kay, and allow as much of my female gender identity to run free as possible. Pronouns 'she' and 'her' are fine. You can call me 'princess' (thank you, Lotus), 'honey', 'darling', 'dearie', 'sweetie', 'pet', 'cutie', 'baby', it's okay. If you think I've stepped out of line you can even call me 'bitch' (ouch). I love it!

In the real world definitely 'he'. My gender is at least part male and at least part not male, which means that part remained female. I use a female name here largely because it seems majority practice and because my mother always desperately wanted me to be Annabel; my parents used that name in correspondence for months before I was born, and my father on at least one occasion used Annabel P, so when plain Annabel wasn't available here I used that. In actual fact I don't really like the name that much and think I had a lucky escape (from the name, not from being the girl I would always have preferred to be) but it seemed a good fit here. The one thing I don't want to be, and definitely insist that I'm not, is 'it'.

Like the others, in real world, I'm in guy mode, but, here, I'm mostly in girl mode, but the guy sneaks through from time to time. I don't EXACTLY care if I'm referred to as male or female, but I guess I'd prefer the fem. At work, one of the guys used to say to me, "Good girl!" if I did something well, and, although he was doing it facetiously, but in humourous way, it REALLY didn't bother me at all!! It was actually preferred!! So, call me lady, call me buddy, call me Jennifer, but DON'T call me late for dinner!! ;-)

I definitely prefer to be referred to in the feminine anywhere although it could get awkward in certain situations. I remember some time ago, I was getting fuel at work, and when I was ready to leave, I thought I heard the attendant call me babe. I was in full guy mode at the time. It made my day for two months.
The name I picked here is actually I believe what my mom wanted me to be named had I been born a girl with the "F" as an initial to honor my family name from my mother's side. She was very understanding and supportive.

Trust me, no one would refer to me as female in the regular world, though some might take my mode of dress as... how shall I say... odd? But here, it is all girl.Rolleyes

Like me Big Grin

according to some thread I don't feel like looking up.

Anyways, looking at the poll...where are all these guys that just want to grow boobs or want the anxiety relief provided by NBE?

Apparently, most would rather be referred to as women, given the chance with no consequences Tongue

Somewhere Patti is laughing.

This reads somewhat militant, sorry. Rest assured, the motives are no concern of mine, and I am no stranger to self-deception. Not that this is taking place for everyone....likely just be a cathartic fantasy for most and I'm reading too much into it. Still interesting.....

*Looks around and backs away slowly*
