So, can I have a, " I rarely dress outwardly whilst I'm taking PM but I would do it full time at home if I stopped PM, but years ago before PM and when I was a lot younger, I could, and would, go everywhere as much as I could en femme", button please?? Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin
LOL! Yes, Pansy-Mae, you can, absolutely, honey... but seriously,, knowing the CV and prevailing mentality here, there should have been an option for " I used to dress a lot, but less since starting PM"
Sigh...I always seem to leave out somebody's answer in these silly polls., tee hee. Rolleyes

For some reason I feel like the stuff I learned from my statistics class is coming back to me.Big Grin

Here are my thoughts on this:

Maybe you would have more luck with polls by focusing on broader options to better include a larger percentage of voters versus trying to hand-tailor all of the possible responses? Also, depending on the nature of the poll, it can be impractical to offer options that are inclusive for the vast majority of voters. I find sometimes more options is not necessarily better when crafting a poll.

With the polls I've created I try to ask very specific questions that typically have a handful of responses. I think your poll could have been broken down into two separate polls: one for public dressing, the other for private.

Maybe a small amount of the regular contributors could act as a sample population to provide feedback on polls via private messaging before the polls are posted in the forum? I would be willing to participate in such a role.

Good idea, Flame! I will give that a try next time. Big Grin

Yes, a poll on how to poll. Big Grin

I'm game. Go for it, Sammie.

How about a simple yes/no poll: Since starting NBE are you less likely to watch the Super Bowl?

Superbowl? That's funny, tee hee. I just made a comment about that on another forum.
I am a baseball girl, 100%. And I am totally faithful to my boys of summer.Tongue
For me sports end with the World Series and begin again with Spring training. I love baseball, and especially my Detroit kitty cats.Big Grin
On "super sunday" I will don a pair of stretchy skinnies and a big soft oversized sweater, and tuck my legs under me on the couch, and I will turn on this one game (I usually have a game on at Thanksgiving, too, but only for my guests). But I cannot even tell you who is playing. Tee hee.
I watch to see if there are clever commercials, and for the halftime act (RHCP's this year...yay! I love those boys!) I usually use the game itself for potty breaks or to get a snack and another scotch.
Sorry. I just never saw the point of all those big men just running into each other and pounding their chests. Way too much T for me. Rolleyes

I agree, Sammie. They should call it the Super T Bowl.

I do find it heavenly to catch a glimpse of those cheerleaders, and crossdream a little. Unfortunately, the game is being played in New Jersey (WTF Jersey?) in 30 degree weather. No skimpy outfits today. Sad

Not as often as I'd like!

Actually chose occasionally in both.

Wow, I never made the connection with E and losing the desire to dress...
I just cant imagine that, I mean perhaps not wearing garters, stockings, heels, jewelry and makeup, but I should think that I would still have the desire to wear a bra and panties and some combination of the aforementioned list of clothing???

Yuk, I have never liked sports, especially football! Too many asshole jocks throughout school, not so much to me, but what I saw them do to others is despicable. I would try to stand up for others as best I could.

Amanda, honey, the desire to dress never goes away, it just changes. Wink
Before PM, for many of us, dressing was complicated by testosterone and libido. The same kind of evil impulses that lead to porn cravings and addiction, which many of us wrestled with in the past.
Adding E to the chemistry of a bio male causes, reportedly, one of two different reactions. If you do not have genuine TG tendencies you will likely not like how you start to feel. You may experience anxiety etc. But if you do have TG feelings then you will become more contended and your sense of well being will increase.
If that occurs, the NEED to crossdress will be reduced, as you will begin to simply feel more feminine and not need to externalize it as much. It is a good thing.Big Grin
But the desire does not go away, only the need, the compulsion. Smile

That's so well stated, Sammie. It's a huge distinction. Crossdressing can be a fetish or a manifestation of one's gender identity. It's often hard to tell which until the introduction of estrogen therapy. But, you have to watch out for the false negatives. It's not unusual to feel panic when physical changes begin. It doesn't necessarily mean you have no TG leanings. Best to stay with the program until you are sure. Early mental and physical changes are largely reversible.

Anyone have those early second thoughts like I did? Thanks to the experiences of others here on this forum, I didn't panic, but I came close.
