How much Pueraria Mirifica daily?

#1

I'm sure this has been posted a thousand times, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere via Google! Tongue

I purchased from Ainterol, their R1 Pure-D 500R1 100x500MG Pueraria Mirifica supplements, and I have been following the instructions on the bottle, which say to take two 500mg capsules per day: one thirty-minutes before breakfast and one before bed.

I am always scared to go above recommended dosages and want to use what is efficient. There are only so many estrogen receptors (and very unfortunately less for me Sad), so taking more than the body can absorb would be wasteful and I read it is possible for the body to go on a temporary "lockdown" and stop absorbing estrogen if overloaded.

Is following the instructions not enough? Also, I have been taking evening primrose oil and PABA, as well as saw palmetto to inhibit DHT. Will this help?

I was also searching for where someone may have mentioned going from flat to Stage 5 successfully, but never found that, either. Are there any people here that have?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to being a part of this community and contributing whatever I can! Smile

Welcome to the forum, Epi.

Yes, the question has been asked many times before. I want to encourage you to read more of the postings on this forum before asking a lot of basic questions about NBE program herbal dosages, and so on. The Search function is very useful in finding relevant threads on the subject.

I'll answer your question briefly by recommending that you ramp up your PM dosage one capsule each week until you trigger breast growth as evidenced by swelling and soreness of the nipples and breasts. 2000 mg/day is what usually causes breast growth in males.

Good luck.

Thank you, ClaraKay! I have only been at it for a few days now and I already have some soreness in the upper breast areas. How long do you suggest going before ramping up? Thanks again!

Also, I'm less than 120lbs and less than 5' 8", if that helps. I don't know if weight and height are factors to do with how efficient dosages are. Kidney and liver problems run in my family as well, so I have to be really careful with dosage amounts and figuring out when ramping up is truly necessary. Thank you again for your input!

I read a while back, about the suggestion was based on weight. I do not remember the particullars, but it seems it was around 100 mg per 40 kilos of weight. Like I said, it's been awhile since I seen the article, but......

Epi, I think ramping up 500 mg (1 capsule) each week is going to allow your body sufficient time to adjust, and for you to sense the effect the PM is having. I also recommend medical supervision, especially if you have liver health issues. I see the doctor every 6 months for a blood analysis. I wouldn't go less than annually when medications are involved.

As far as how much PM to take per kilo of body weight, I'm not sure those guidelines apply when used for NBE. We typically exceed those recommendations to achieve breast growth.

For a newbie you are well informed, yes too much E will overload your receptors, I used to subscribed to that theory but have learned making your E work smarter is better. DHT is one of the biggest threats for breast growth, so you something that decreases 5 ar-(5-ar - 5 alpha reductase - converts testosterone into dht) saw Palmetto is a good start, as you progress switching to something that doesn't have sterols that have anti estrogen is beneficial.

Using PABA is a good idea- PABA - Decreases breakdown of estrogen in your body so you have more free estrogen.

Read these threads to give better direction-you'll have to do the reading! Wink

I'm concerned about your weight though!, the whole idea of NBE can be exciting for some but also tricky if you have health issues, you mentioned kidney and liver issues in your family, the liver try's to eliminate the excess estrogen, but consult with a Physician if you have any doubts, don't put yourself at risk!

Epi,

Welcome aboard. One thing to consider is that most of the manufacturer dosage recommendatoina are for women. And women have a running start, estrogen-wise, so men have to take extra to get to the same starting point.

Most of what I've seen here over the years has been a recommendation to slowly ramp up to around 2,000 mg per day, although some get as high as 3,000 or even 4,000. At the higher dosages some people have experienced backaches or headaches. These can be minimized by taking the pills spaced out over the day. So instead of taking 1,000 at breakfast and 1,000 at dinner, you take 500 at breakfast, 500 at lunch, 500 at dinner and 500 at bedtime, etc.

One other thing is that PM seems to work better when calcium is present, so many take it with a calcium supplement or a glass of milk.

Just to add to the confusion, I've read that the Ainterol R1 is more potent than the older Ainterol that it replaces and I cannot remember if the dosages I just mentioned were for the older, less potent, Ainterol or for the newer high-octane version.

Best of luck.

[font=ArialHi Epi,

There are many words of wisdom from our veteran members Tongue what I really mean are those that have already trodden the path of experience !

From a very novice point of view together with trial and error, I started with the suppliers recommendations and soon realised that I was not going to see much progress, if any, so I followed the route that EricaB spoke about in her post.

I ramped up the dose from the recommended 1000mg per day to my current 3000mg per day. This would involve 3 capsules in the morning after breakfast and a further 3 capsules before going to bed.

I don't think there have been any side effects that I am aware of, however, I am not sure that some of my mood swings cannot be attributed to this PM dose.

I have since started taking Spearmint Tea (with grateful thanks to Lotus) in the hope that this will accelerate my growth. I have yet to post pictures etc, but I can be certain things are happening as the nipples have been so very tender together with significant twinges and a little areola growth Big Grin

I wish you lots of success and would love to hear of success.

Hugs Heather

After reading so much conflicting info.... Not necessarily from here. I am of a mind to do it prudently.

Start small, go with label directions first for about 2 weeks.. If you get measurable growth, then stay at that level until you hit a plateau.

If and when you hit a plateau, then increase all by what ever units were originally on the label by 1 dose. See what results you have after 2 weeks. Just don't expect to go from an A cup to C cup in 2 months.

It sounds right that bio women have a great start, and men have to boost everything... But I wouldn't start at the max some of these girls are using. Remember, some have been at it for 2 or more years. And some may not have any health problems at all.
