Can't afford Saw Palmetto atm, should I...

#1

Continue with my PM and maca creams or wait until i can get the 13 bucks to buy more saw palmetto?

It's been about 6 days since I ran out of Saw, Wild Yam, and Fenugreek.

I feel very distressed and very much need to get my herbs back. I hope this
pause in my pills doesnt back slide me a ton.

Has anyone had this happen?

Hmmm.... well, for starters, if you are on PM then basically you don't actually need any of the other stuff:

Maca is said to increase the fat deposits on your bum, if that's what you want, but it won't help boob growth.
SP does help prevent the conversion of T into DHT, but there are plenty on here who grow without SP. I have a suspicion that it depends on age, the older you are the less you need SP, but that is just a private theory.
WY is supposed to somehow allow progesterone synthesis but there is no known body chemical pathway to allow that to happen, and anyway you don't want progesterone around until the boobs are well developed from estrogens.
FG is a weaker phyto-oestrogen source than PM, so dilutes the effect and doesn't add anything.
So, bottom line, IMO, is keep the PM, keep the Maca if thats what you want, ditch the rest in favour of SP if you want and when you can afford it.

Hope this helps

Fenugreek contains prolactin though which PM does not contain, so the instructions I've read on taking PM advise taking a regular amount of FG alongside of the PM.

I recently added a small amount of FG into my regiment and it's too early at this point to say if it makes a difference or not but I'm taking less than the recommended dose on the FG bottle. I'm merely using it to add in the prolactin.

FG made my nipples puffy and sensitive. I really like what it did to them, I miss my FG.

Glad to know I really just need to get some SP and ditch the rest.

The PM i have is a cream that I rub right into my breast tissue. Do PM pills have the same effect?

Thanks

Bottom line is that PM is key and I note that references, on this site, to other herbs, have all but dried up; there must be a reason.

Chances are that PM capsules ( or loose powder) will work better than cream. Certainly does for me cream had no effect that I could tell.

Hi Jenny,

Switch to powdered herbs. If I search "lakewood, OH herbal", google.nl shows a map with 7 herb shops. Two are within walking distance:

urbanherbsonline.com
1979 West 25th Street, Cleveland, OH,
+1 216-241-5444

and

Culinary Herbs & Products
22289 Bartlett Drive, Cleveland, OH,
+1 440-333-4525 ‎

I don't like the price of fenugreek at urbanherbsonline.com
I pay about a dollar for ten ounces at the oriental supermarket. They have herbs in plastic bags, instead of in nice jars. I get fenugreek and fennel from there. Is there a business like that in your area? It doesn't need to be as posh as http://www.asiantowncenter.com/food_market.html

Hops and goat's rue are about $ 10 for three months, and I know they're the same price in herb shops in NYC and New England. Hops is sometimes a better deal in home brewers' supply shops:
Rozi's Wine House
14900 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH,
+1 216-221-1119 ‎ · rozis.com
Their price is nice: http://www.rozis.com/store/product.php?productid=17816&page=1 $ 2.79, only it doesn't say for exactly how many ounces.

My most expensive supplement is maca flour, $ 20 for three months.

Good luck Smile
