I don't know....even bras with little padding make it look like I have boobs under clothing. Of course once the clothing comes off, they look more like moobs lol.

I have a compression top I'll wear if they ever grow enough to raise eyebrows. Bras tend to emphasize what you have, rather than hiding it. Especially when it comes to pulling early outward growth more towards the center and pointing it forward, away from the body.

That being said, you did say it was out of boredom that you were looking at them, and for all I know you want to show them off.

Looking at, no, found by accident, looking up the mfr site out of boredom.

Well, one article I read said they were Originally made for Males with Gynemastia[sp?] in Japan which is apparently wide spread due to their soy intake.
(Also GID is apparently quite widespread also in Japan)

from there they were apparently turned into a "Metrosexual" fashion thing....
