So yeah, finally got my progestorone cream in the mail, but there seem to be mixed opinions on how often, where, and how much to use. Opinions are welcomed.

It feels like it's been a few weeks since you last posted on the board. It's nice to be hearing from you again.

For progesterone cream I've been using 1/4 teaspoon, twice daily on my lower back. I've been using a teaspoon to get exact measurements for this. Except for the lower back part, this falls in line with the directions on the container. Here's a thread AbiDrew and I talked about how much progesterone cream to use:

I'm not sure if it's a proximity thing, but I have been speculating the application of progesterone cream to my lower back is the catalyst for the fat redistrubtion to my bum. I'm not sure how I can test this though.

There's a bit of variance with PABA dosage. I've seen bottles with 100mg capsules that recommended one capsule a day. I'm taking a 500mg capsule once a day in the morning. I believe Lenneth is taking two 500mg capsules a day, one in the morning and one at night.

Actually I've been having bad asthma attacks lately, really scares me. Haven't been able to sleep much either, and kinda pissed off lol....and it seems like sometimes in class i'll get all snotted up for no reason. I thought it was something in the buildings I was allergic to.

After having looked at the link about estrogen dominance in the thread you linked, maybe I was just estrogen dominant after 8 months of PM and SP sometimes....

Scary, but I almost hope that was it, because maybe this progestorone will fix it. I'll start out with a quarter today, do a quarter twice tommorrow, and cut back on PM, see if I can get rid of these symptoms.
I've always had minor asthma, but nothing this bad.Its not much fun. Gonna hold off on the PABA until next week, not sure I want estrogen staying in my system longer in my current state ;p

That's interesting Sarah. Ever since I started on PM, I've had a more or less permanent snuffle, sneezing, and sometimes a really bad cough.
It has always put me in mind of my Hay Fever symptoms but since we have a couple of parrots and allergy to parrot dander is quite common, I've blamed it on them, but still wondered about PM! I've also not slept very well for some while, although that has improved recently...since I started taking Microgest, now I come to think of it!

As for PABA, I tried it for a few months, right back at the beginning, but didn't find it made any difference one way or the other.

I haven't had any sniffling, sneezing or coughing problems while taking pm, but maybe that's because I don't have any allergies or asthma? As far as sleep goes, my only issue has been sleeping too much. I'm not sure of how much of that is related to pm. This is probably a long-shot, but do either of you think of how we ingest pm (capsules or powder) affects the symptoms we experience?

Yeah, I've had some lower back pain, but I think I'd gotten used to it, so didn't notice it as much anymore.

But anyways, I didn't have any problems with asthma last night, and I seemed to feel much better overall. Also, my nipples were itching and I was feeling rather sexy lol....and all around great mood.

I think it's doing something for me.

But anyways, about the sniffles, nose running in class. I thought it was something with the building, but since I take PM an hour or so before class, maybe that's it. Or it could just make whatever allergies I have that much worse. We'll see in calculus today, it seems to happen in there and in English every time lol.

Pre-pharmacy/pre-chemistry. It's the same, mostly irrelevant courses for each. I'd like to get into R&D, but a job in the service sector may prove more feasible.

Whilst not in anyway trying to discount what you feel is happening to you, I'm at a total loss to understand how progesterone could affect back pain. Are you sure it is the progesterone itself and not just the fact that you are using a cream to massage aching muscles?
Earlier in the thread there was some discussion about the best place to put prog cream and I've seen many different statements that "must" be adhered to!!
Some say never put it actually on the breasts, others say thats the best place. Some say put it on fatty areas of the body and others say put it where the skin is thinnest because the blood vessels are nearer the surface.
The one thing that most seems to agree on is to NOT put it in the same place all the time. I'm not 100% sure why that is but I think its something to do with saturating one small area and then wasting subsequent applications.
