I know that PM is probably not going to be able to do as much as regular HRT but I need something to help me transition in the mean time as all the doctors visits, cost and hassle of trying to get on regular estrogen hrt is just not an option now... Im only 18, have hardly any money, no license to help me drive to doctors appointments, and I live with pretty unsupportive parents... so im basically hoping that PM and herbs will help feminize me in the time being... So my question is is PM going to make a difference to my body? Are there other feminizing affects besides breasts? Ive heard it can increase general curviness and soften skin etc... Also are there any other MtF people who are using PM and herbs as an alternative to regular HRT? Hope that's not to many questions lol

Hello,
I think you'll find a lot of support here. I would be careful trying to transition at home with unsupportive parents. How much have you told them, if anything so far?
They may surprise you if this has been a secret you've been hiding. It could ease their minds if they thought you've been acting strangely (which in turn can lead to an erosion of trust). Remember, they had hopes and dreams for you; seeing you graduate from school, getting married, having children of your own, etc. Transitioning kinda squashes all that without some serious planning.
Or if you have come out to them before as TG and the reaction was negative AND you pursue transition anyways under their roof you could end up sleeping on friends couches or worse - the street.
I did have more to say but now I have to pick up my own child from school.

They know and have known that I was different since I was three... I am currently living as a woman most of the time and although my parents don't like it or agree with it they are somewhat tolerant... I just know they wont help me with getting on HRT though, so im trying this until I can get the resources and money to go the full transition route....I have been told I pass already so im not desperate for a drastic change, just something to ease the dysphoria about my body plus make me feel like im doing something to further my transition.
