B12 levels in Swansons PM

#1

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.

I have used Swansons 100mg PM capsules in the past before I found Ainterol - it seemed a trustworthy brand and i get my WP from them.

What I don't understand is the sky-high levels of Vitamin B12 that each pill contains relative to the PM values.

A 100mg capsule contains:

100mg of Puresterol from PM root.
500mcg of B12 (as methylcobalamin)
10mg of B6

Now the B12 doseage here is 8,333% of the daily value...

That seems mental?? Surely can't be good to take more than 1 or 2 of these a day - not as a result of the PM dose, but because of the high B12 content.

Maybe I'm very receptive to all this, but just one capsule gives me a hot flush and a bit of a head rush for ab hour or two and if I take just before bed, I feel wired and can't sleep.

Why would Swansons be putting such a high dose of B12 in and is it in anyway beneficial to a NBE program?

After reading that I was going to try the Swanson brand but that is kinda scary.

It does seem to be something they added too, and not some unlisted nutrient in PM, as there are there are few plant sources of Vitamin B12.
