My life is developing in a great way. I have been a poet an artist and a tutor. So I decided to apply to become a DR of English/Technology/Writing. I started the online application and in the personal information section is this gender question...
Gender*
Male
Female
Trans male/Trans man
Trans female/Trans woman
Genderqueer/Gender Non-conforming
Different Identity
Well, right now I consider myself to be a feminized sissy male. I still take herbs for breast growth. I took many steps over nearly 2 years to look, feel, and sound female. Technically a Psychologist will consider me as transgender somewhere on the sexual spectrum. I do feel queer and non conforming as a bisexual sissy male. I know if I went over to HRT I would want to become female. But I don't want that. How will these application readers see me if I come out of the closest as Genderqueer? Is this an issue that effects who will employ me. I just feel I will say I am male, but a really fun male.

I can totally relate to the taking steps to look and feel female and being non conforming and that i to if i took hrt would want to become female. Its kind of tough i wouldnt say im a sissy male but i like presenting as female but still being male if that makes any sense theres times where i also feel more masculine so i guess you could say im gender fluid but errr i dont think that would make much sense tbh nor would anyone understand i doubt..i just want to be a pretty boy with boobs and a female physique

Err for a job id just put male cause it may effect your chances of getting a job because youd be like a minority if u put gender queer or other atleast thats what im thinking

Well my friend is a gay woman and she became a professor. I am a political writer and I think I would enjoy being out all the way.

Then hey power to you it may go fine with people it may not you should do what makes you comfortable regaurdless of what others think but statistically it is harder for trans people to get a job vs someone who was cis

And certainly not now if you wanted to enlist and serve in the military....

Welllike I said do what you want but when the education system is choosing who to hire and they see an trans girl applying (or any other minority) and a cis male or a real girl they will chose either one of those over you which is the harsh and sad reality of it but it's just something to keep in mind.

I went to a job and course counselor. I discovered I could get a teaching credential for Media, Math and English, or Bilingual teaching in a year. Plus I can start teaching Media and temp teach all these subjects now.
But the question persists. Do I come out as a Genderqueer/Gender Non-conforming ? Or remain male.
