Outside the UK, use an app like cyber ghost to mask your IP to a UK IP. Then just go to the ITV website and you can watch it.

a few more details would be helpful.  I downloaded cyber ghost to my iPad and it masked my IP. how do I substitute a UK IP?  also, ITV asked me to set up an account and it wants a postal code. what does a UK postal code look like?

well I must admit I was rather pleasantly surprised! such a rarity for british media to actually cast us in a more realistic light without the passive agressive jabs, or narator irony and sarcasm uttered in oh so sincere tones as if to make their comments somehow more beleivable.
but this made a refreshing change,  so Well Done ITV!!

I almost fainted,

You can watch it through the ITV hub, without having to set up an account. 
I watched it throu KODI on an android device.
Cyber ghost has done an update, only the wifi is scrambled now without paying for it. It didnt give me an option to choose A UK ip.
My work around was to use NORD VPN to choose a UK IP, then run Cyber Ghost.
It worked well, no glitching.
