COVID-19 Coronavirus ARDS Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

#1

When coronavirus kills, the lung condition ARDS can be the culprit

Borage (Oil) & EPA

Possibly Effective for

Improving the function of the lungs in critically ill patients. There is some evidence that borage seed oil, when taken by mouth in combination with eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), might reduce the number of days spent in the intensive care unit (ICU) and the length of time a breathing machine is needed by patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).

I'm filing this under particularly useful information that I don't want to have to know, but if it comes to it, will be glad to have come across it.

If things do get completely out of hand and there aren't enough of these devices (ventilators and such) to go around, anything that might help speed recovery so the devices can benefit more in need is worth being aware of.

---

Just found one of the studies that goes into this in detail:

Of major importance was the finding that patients given EPA⫹GLA had a significant reduction in ventilator days, ICU days, and a decrease in supplemental oxygen days as compared with controls (Fig. 8). In addition, patients fed EPA ⫹GLA had significantly fewer new organ failures

I’m seeing info online that states if you have a high degree of melanin, then you’re not at-risk. Same goes for people with O-type blood. But from my research, it looks like this virus only attacks vampires, cannibals & pedophiles.

Speaking of vampires, it looks like short of a vaccine (for which wide availability may be a long way off), they'll be experimenting and likely using the plasma of some corona survivors to bolster the immune response of some of the most acute sufferers.

Regarding the melanin thing: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/20...ronavirus/

Oh I am o type blood, so perhaps I'm not going to die of the Mexican beer virus?
Have made my day Stevenator, uless you just made the o type thing up, which I  suspect you did. Nothing against vampires or cannibals, nobody has ever tried to bite or eat me. But pedos deserve to suffocate slowly to death.

Well actually have been bitten but they were not vampires, just angry bitches, or very turned on ladies....... don't like getting bitten so never asked.

...Sorry am lying...I know why they bite and scratch your back bloody. It's to mark you and let everybody else know you are property. Would prefer a vampire, at least then you may become immortal.

I have read the same information Steve has. In addition, A type blood seems to be more susceptible and also those with a + Rh factor.
