I always hand wash my bras using a gentle liquid detergent, and air-dry them by hanging them over a line. Also I never wear one for more than four days, so it looks like I'm doing things right.

This isn't rocket science. Some of your bras may have a label for washing instructions this apply's for them all. There is elastic so as low a temperature as possible to get them clean, a lingerie bag, yes you can get those! I always put my bras and stocking's into a separate bag that goes into the washing machine. I mean your bras shouldn't be so minging that a 30 degree C can't get them clean and you don't want your bra strap's tangling with your towels etc. so the bag is good. I use Ariel pods only because I'm allergic to Persil which gives me a rash and really Pisses me off.

I suppose hand wash is okay if you don't need to do it often. I won't wear a bra for more than one day, just like my knickers, socks or well anything I wear, one day and it is in the washing basket so I have a lot of wash. Even though it's not dirty, just one of my quirks. I find 30 degree C won't spoil my underwear but yes, I agree with you I won't tumble dry my lingerie either but always air dry.

This is a "delicate" subject :-) 

For lacy or delicate featured bras I hand wash with Woolite delicates soap, and hang dry. For everything else I use the machine delicate cycle with a laundry bag (helps keep them from knotting up together) and hang them dry.

My preference is always to hand-wash and hang-dry my bras and also all more delicate panties. That is significantly kinder than any machine cycle can be, and it's a quite quick and easy thing to do.
