Over the years I've had some of my domes develop cracks around the rim. This would create air leaks which rendered the dome useless. I tried tape, which actually worked for a while. Thought about using superglue, but decided against that. Recently, I was at a hardware store and happened upon a product called JB Weld. I bought the one for bonding plastic. The instructions were super easy. I prepared the solution (the syringe squeezed out two dollops of goo, which you mix with an included wooden stick) and spread it over the cracks, both inside and outside the dome. Had to let them sit for 24 hours.
The domes aren't as pretty as they used to be, but I am more concerned with function over form. I've been using the repaired domes for over a month now, and the leaks are completely gone. The domes hold their seal perfectly!
