Is this my ideal range

#1

I am currently on 8mg of E daily and took my labs.  Is this the range I want to be in?

Hi Mindhak,

Dont let it get you down, this is how the forum sometimes works, I have posted many things on the site under HRT Update and get very few replies.

Some folk do not know how to answer or dont know the answer to your questions, if you are unsure and need guidance google MTF hormone ranges.

That saisd as I found out it depends on where you live in the world for example I live in the UK and our ranges are measured differntly to those living in the USA. Hence why some peopl do not answer, so keep smiling and keep posting.

Take care

There are a lot of people here that read posts and never reply. In this case there are a lot of people that read it and can't answer your question, myself included. There is a small percentage of members here that can answer your question with some level of surety. I have noticed BN seems to be much quieter in both posts and replies over the weekends so rather than get upset about the lack of replies give people a chance today. I know it can be frustrating as I have had posts that lacked replies as well. I have no idea what a good range is for HRT but the fact that T is low and E is high I would think is what you want and would only question what that E level should be. Really the only person that can accurately answer that would be your Dr. I hope one of the knowledgeable members here chimes in some time today now that we are past the weekend.

Don't worry, the forum is often very slow with replies and some times there's quiet times when nobody is posting for days or there's just very little activity. Totally normal here.

Your levels seem fine, even maybe ideal?`Which measure is the testosterone, nmol/l? I would advice to keep estradiol between 200-300 pg/ml for most people. High enough that it actually does something, but low enough not to mess with your mood and not letting SHBG to go crazy and stall body changes.

My golden middle seems to be a bit higher, at around 280-350 pg/ml. I've lowered my levels a bit a while ago and noticed a positive impact on body changes. But too much lower messes up my moods. Higher does the same. Only way you really know is to try as there are quite a lot of individual differences on this. T suppression is easy, just get it low enough, but not non existent. Some testosterone is healthy to keep going, but not enough to slow down body changes. Especially DHT needs to be nuked completely as that's what keeps feminising changes from happening.

I'd say the best hormone levels for are the ones that make you feel consistently good, that yield the results you had expected. Don't chase numbers, Chase how you feel and results. Easier said than done. Lol.

I agree with CM, don't chase the numbers, go with how you feel.
Use the numbers as a guideline as they will help you troubleshoot if things aren't going as well as you'd expect.
