Supplementation of HRT?

#1

I have been a bit confused lately? I have been on medical HRT since 2014, and in 2019 I had a Orchiectomy. So I no longer produce Testosterone naturally. I am on injectable Estrogen, and it is to my knowledge that the human body has only so many estradiol receptors? So typically if I inject Estrogen, that is using up all my estradiol receptors for the entire week even though I only inject once a week right? So if that is the case, then anything like Fenugreek, flaxseed oil, pueraria mirifica won't do anything and would fight the more effective medical grade estradiol for those receptors correct? Or is it because I only inject once a week now, I CAN supplement in-between injections? Thank you in advance for helping me clearing this up for me?

Once you're on injections my understanding is don't bother with the NBE herbs/etc, as pharma is vstly more effective.
However, it can be beneficial to add BO/Pit and a topical regime.
There's a few of us here and we are on injections and have added BO and topical.
You are ahead of some with your orchi, so presumably are on a lower dose of E.
Good luck

Why would adding BO do? Wouldn’t that still be competing with my injections? What dosage of BO? And topical E you mean?

Bovine ovary does not compete with injections if I'm any kind of a tell about how it works, so no worries taking it on the side. There's plenty of talk about dosages and reasons why it works (to some.) on the forum, search function is your friend.

Like HN says, BO doesn't compete with E, there is loads of info on it here, but just be aware that BO doesn't work for everyone, which could be for lots of reasons, one is body temperature.
If you've had an orchi you wont be producing T so I presumed your injection E dose is quite low.
Again search for topical there's lots of info here and how it is beneficial, my topical is prog cream, red clover, cayenne extract with BO in it.

This is the gold standard for topicals.
