Nipple Secretion

#1

Hi everyone, I am a bit worried about this so I thought I'd just post this here.

I have been noticing that my nipples will produce a clear-yellowish secretion when and only when pressed or squeezed. I have a lump underneath and if I press into that about a drop of liquid will come out, then its gone for a while. Additionally, I notice that my nipples have begun inverting a bit since I grew that lump underneath (about a few weeks), they are still normal when stimulated or cold but otherwise they're flatter than before. I understand that my doctor would be the best person to talk this to but I don't have a good medical insurance so I don't really think the doctor would care much, most likely she'd just tell me to stop doing HBE...

I also used this Asian "nipple stimulating needle" that I got from legit sources, and the reviews of people who has done it doesn't report similar issues. I speak the language so I can read their original reviews which says nothing about both of my issues. This thing basically presses a needle into my nipple (doesn't penetrate or hurt) and stimulates it passively, and I noticed both of these issues after taking it off one day. I've been using them for months now, one week on and one week off, never with any problems until a few weeks ago.

I am beginning to notice some changes in my breast size but it could also just because I'm getting fatter Smile . All of these happened a few weeks ago and I am having a hard time to tell what caused them and what are harmful, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know!

My dosage are only 1000mg of PM daily for about 3 months now. Although I am injecting it rectally just to try it out. Sorry for the unorganized post.

If its happening with both breasts, you may be inducing lactation. Lumps under nipples and yellowish discharges are common early signs.

Get a breast milk pump and pump yourself dry, catching the fluid in the bottle.

Taste your fluid. If its sweet & creamy, its colostrum, which means you are starting to lactate. Pump regularly and your proper milk will come in and increase in volume.

(its not colostrum, unless you've got a placenta attached to you somewhere. we can't reproduce the exact prenatal hormone cocktail that would cause colostrum)

It could be milk eventually, but its likely not that. before you ever get to milk you're going to release duct fluid. that's likely where you are and its perfectly normal. So long as you aren't penetrating your skin with the needle its probably just normal prolactin-derived duct fluid. even less to worry about if its bilateral.

with flatter nipples, its fine. more breast, same amount of nipple means the nipple can get flattened a bit. do keep an eye on it because if it starts to point inward, specifically if just one points inward, that could be a thing to bring up to a doctor for concern of breast cancer. tons of people just have inverted nipples normally, i kind of used to at one point before NBE i think. but yeah.

You're fine~

Hi Valerie, thanks for replying. I collected some and checked and they're actually more of a slightly-muddied up clear color than yellow, sorry for the confusion. They do not taste sweet too, almost the same as sweat with a slightly salty taste.

Hi Aria, thanks for replying. It does happen equally on both nipples and only comes out when pressed. None of the nipples are pointing inward, just flattened. I'm glad I'm fine! Are there any way to check if it is duct fluid thought? Just making sure. Thanks again.
