"Doctor, it hurts when I do this!"

Doctor: "Don't do that."

Joking aside; from your initial description, it doesn't sound related to NBE. You didn't experience it for the first 4 months, and you've already identified specifically what causes the pain.

I get it in the hips and knees. I attribute it to the estrogen. Estrogen will cause your muscles - a product of testosterone - to deteriorate and weaken. the best thing you can do on estrogen is to excercise to keep your muscle tone. Otherwise, you can end up weak and sore like I did.

I know what you mean. I occasionally wake up with leg cramps and have to use a heating pad to get rid of the cramp.

B.L. have you tried using a long full body pillow? The idea would be to have it against the front of your body for support. One idea I had was that your back may be pulling to keep you on your side. With something to support your weight as you sleep you could relieve the strain. If that is the problem. As you develop breasts, it is not a bad idea to have such a pillow to hug as you sleep. Helps to take the weight off there as well. To prevent creases and help with breast health.

Is comfy too.
Are you drinking enough water?
During your breaks. Did you take something like Milk Thistle to help flush your system? As long as your urine hasn't changed color you should be ok on the kidneys. Mine has been coming out neon yellow. I have been on Cipro for awhile to try and flush some other symptoms. My doctor simply said ,and I quote "cool". Needless to say i was not impressed. I have a appointment with a kidney specialist in about 3 weeks. I will get some testing done then.

Hello.

I was interested in your comments about cramp.

I have been taking PM for about 3.1/2 months and have to say I seem to be suffering from severe bouts of cramps recently in my lower leg. These occur particularly at night and when my feet are pointing down the bed with the weight of my bedding pushing down on them. I can relieve it by pulling my feet up.

It may sound odd but I think my hair has thickened up along with my waist line and I wonder what other symptons come as a result of taking these herbs.

Would others taking PM care to post details of how long they have been taking herbs and what changes they noticed.

Best wishes.
