Strange question about lactation?

#1

Hi everyone, this is abit of a strange question lol. Some of you on here will know that through out my NBE i have suffered from lactation, mainly caused by hormone changes. Now i have accepted this and suffer from small amounts of milk coming from my breasts when stimulated, now i have now got myself a boyfriend and he kinds of finds it fascinating lol and i suppose i kind of do aswell. Now my question is could i start my lactation going again and keep it going for like a few months or something, if so how, would i just use a breast pump for milking lol i know this must sound really strange but im really kind of interested in knowing if i could. When i first suffered from lactaion about a year ago it was severe and full on so i know im capable lol but know very little about it. Any help on this strange question lol would be appreciated.
Thanks everyone

Actually its not really strange....I've known quite a few guys facinated, and aroused by the lactation process. What was in that caused it for you? Do you think it was the noogleing?
Just realize that you'll have to go through the pain, inconvienience, heavyness, and drying up process all over again. Ntm the risk of a swollen, or infected duct.

Hi bellalily, thanks for replying hun, lol yeah i guess guys in general are quite fascinated by it lol mine started because of the sudden change in my hormones and i have high prolactin levels or something. It never really went away and i suffer from leakage every now and then my boobs get stimulated, i have started using a a pump for breast feeding and it seems to be working, my boobs have swelled and hurt abit and i am producing some thickish liquid, i know kind of what to expect but this time i want it to last and hopefully it wont be so uncomfortable then when i get to a certain stage, im not sure what effects this will have on my boobs though if i lactate for say 3 months or something, i just dont know what to expect and how to keep it going, do i just keep using the pump? lol i feel stupid asking this but i really want to know lol Thanks again hun.

Well good luck...and make sure you drink lots of fluids. Honestly I've nursed 5 kids....and it seems that the pain was worse during the first few weeks, but after that none at all. Just keep up with the pumping, so you don't get too full if it happens. As long as you're keeping the breast stimulated...and not too engorged you should be able to keep up the supply.

Well I honestly can't say. I would suggest that you wear a really good supportive bra during the process. Maybe a good nursing one. It'll help pulling and tearing of the tissue.

Okay, this is going to sound strange as well, but if your bf is stimulating the lactating process just be careful that he doesn´t make a sucking motion directly on your nipples, because that will cause them to clog and ultimately dry up. When a baby is nursing, you´ll find that he/she moves the jaw up and down while holding its mouth around the nipple, and that´s the movement you want to stimulate lactation. So it´s actually very different from drinking from a bottle or sucking from a straw.
Not sure if I explained that correctly, hope it helps.

Thanks both, and thanks Bibi that is really good advice, i dont want that happening lol well i seem to be fully underway now, my boobs are really swollen and hurt abit but its not as bad as the first time i lactated, but i do seem to be getting hardish lumps that are big at the top of my boobs that is quite painful to touch but kind of gos once i have expressed milk so im guessing its normal lol anyway thanks everyone for your help on such a strange question lol.
