Stopping NBE, but is my body stopping?

Hi Tara,
I don't think you have anything to be worried about and everything to be proud of. You have nice breasts and you are doing what you feel is best for you. I think you will always be supported here and I for one appreciate your post. That's how the rest of us learn. Thanks

Does anyone have experience taking domperidone?

This is another example of someone asking for advice about using pharmaceuticals to effect breast changes on a board that specializes with natural methods. For people who like risky pastimes there are other groups that specialise in pharm russian roulette like TsDoItYourselfHormones on yahoo. Most people are here because herbal and mechanical methods are much safer and far less likely to result in death or severe illness.

Playing around with pharmaceuticals without a doctor's advice is asking for trouble, especially for something as easy to achieve as nipple growth. All you need for that is manipulation and/or suction and patience.

Stopping the herbs may stop both of these from coming in, but prolactin levels are likely to remain high until positively countered. 500 mg or more of vitex can block prolactin receptors by saturating them with very weak imitators. 5,000 mg - 10,000 mg mucuna pruriens provides dopamine to counter prolactin. Estrogen OTOH will probably drop right away on its own.

1,000 mg or more 100:1 Tongkat ali may block the effects of prolactin and estrogen in the hypothalamus, but if you have large amounts I don't know how well it would work.

Anyway it's up to you.

You need to be a little more specific on the mucuna pruriens dosing. I have found extracts ranging from 20% L-Dopa to 40% to even 99%. Surely you don't mean a person should be taking as much as 10 grams of L-Dopa. As I recall from a conversation we had via private message, you recommended between 200 mg and 400 mg of L-Dopa which is the active ingredient in mucuna pruriens (velvet bean extract). This should also carry the caveat that L-Dopa can raise blood pressure significantly. I took about 250 mg of L-Dopa in the form of a 99% mucuna pruriens extract, and my BP instantly climbed to 220/160. I thought my heart was going to pound its way out of my chest. Anyone who takes mucuna pruriens needs to monitor their BP.

I assumed whole mucuna pruriens. Yes, extracts will be much more concentrated.

That is an odd effect on blood pressure. The prescribed dose of L-Dopa is typically 300 mg per day at minimum up to an absolute maximum of 8,000 mg. Though individual doses can be as little as 100 mg.

Vitex is a good safe option for blocking prolactin, though once you saturate past 500 mg it will have no additional effect. L-Dopa is potent stuff so use caution regardless of who you are, but I had no idea it could do so much to anyone at the low dose. I would also strongly recommend a less concentrated MP because MP contains additional substances besides L-Dopa which reduce the side effects of pure L-Dopa; IIRC it may also help serotonin somewhat for example. There is no way all that could fit in the remaining 1%. Pure L-Dopa alone is a prescription drug with some long term side effects too, whereas preliminary studies show that MP is more effective than L-Dopa alone and has less side effects. I've used 4:1 MP extract (so 1250-2500 mg) and it is pretty good. Vitex and MP also have a combined effect, so you should use less MP if you use vitex. The first dose of MP may be more intense than later doses too.

As for domperidone, yes that is dangerous stuff.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how much PM/SP/FG I would have to take per day in order to really achieve substantial growth.
I have been thinking about upping my PM dosage to 2000mg per day, in addition to using a PM cream.

I think something to keep in mind regarding NBE herbs is more is not necessarily better. I think 2,000 mg of pm is a good dosage to tryout. If you're still not experiencing any growth sensations, I suggest going up to 2,500 or 3,000 mg.

I'd also comment that I did not achieve substantial growth until I hit the dose that is best for my mental balance - in my case 3g/day. It may be that you do not need PM for that purpose, but a gradual increase up to around the 3g/day level - say at 500mg increase each week - and notice if you start to feel really relaxed at comfortable with yourself. It may have been coincidental with me, but that was when I noticed a spurt in growth.

Hello Everyone,

One company that sells these and has a forum for them is Noogleberry. Yes, the same company that we get our NBs from. Big Grin

Hi Everyone,

In regards to prolactin:

Search: hormones released during ejaculation

....Research shows that during ejaculation, men release a cocktail of brain chemicals, including norepinephrine, serotonin, oxytocin, vasopressin, nitric oxide (NO), and the hormone prolactin. The release of prolactin is linked to the feeling of sexual satisfaction, and it also mediates the “recovery time” that men are well aware of—the time a guy must wait before “giving it another go.” Studies have also shown that men deficient in prolactin have faster recovery times....

Search: breast growth and prolactin

....prolactin works with estrogen to develop the mammary glands, while increasing the number of estrogen receptors in the breasts. Prolactin also causes the breasts to store fat by increasing the production of lipoprotein lipase (LPL) in your breasts.5 LPL is a “fat storage” enzyme.....

In rats;

The effect of serum prolactin elevation on the growth and development of the rat breast was investigated. Oral administration of the dopamine antagonist, perphenazine, led to a 5-10-fold elevation of serum prolactin after two days of treatment which was maintained for the 54 days of study. A significant (P less than 0.01) 3.4-fold increase in total breast volume was seen by Day 4 of serum prolactin elevation. Breast volume continued to rise up to Day 14 reaching an 8.9-fold peak....

So, is prolactin good or bad. It seems that it is needed for breast growth. And, bad for the testes, as to shrinkage.

Hi tara koxx,

I was taking up to 3000mg PM per day and 2440mg SP per day (2 caps twice a day). The PM I took for about six months, until I ran out last Nov. (I have more on order.) No significant growth, although I did start to get budding, I have grown about 1" in the last year. Maybe with this next batch of PM I'll start growing again.

There are plenty of other things that can increase prolactin. Metformin, which comes from Goat's rue, can raise prolactin so I assume Goat's rue will, too, but I have read in the past that Goat's rue can harm the liver so watch out for dark urine which can be a sign of liver damage.

Certain antidepressants will also raise prolactin levels. In fact, this may be why some of these drugs cause the negative sexual side effects they do. Lexapro and Effexor both affected me negatively in that department. Although I took them for a combined period of less than 2 years, here I am 6 years later, and nothing has changed. My new doctor just tested my prolactin, LH, FSH, and a bunch of other things. I'll know more when I see him in mid-March.
