sfem brings up a good point about sterility. I don't know nor have I seen documented information that suggests NBE can cause sterility or even reduce potency. However, even without indisputable documentation, it's still prudent to consider very carefully what impact it MIGHT have if there's a possibility of children in ones future. Reduced testosterone, changes in semen, testicular atrophy... all have something to do with your reproductive abilities so it would be naive to think changes in your potency are impossible. All I'm saying is just be careful. I highly doubt having breasts someday will be more desirable than a child.

And something all too often missed is the potential for DAMAGE to your sperm. Your sperm count and virility might not change, but you could potentially do harm to your offspring.

Honestly, IMO, if you're gunna be sexually active without protection and trying to make babies, do it without NBE. You can go back on after your wife is pregnant.

Great thanks! I am not planing on having kids anytime soon if at all, I just was concerned about the permanence of it.
I think I understand the cross dressing part a bit better now, just as long as the joy is not taken out of it. Smile
I will probably do a mix of sp and pm and maybe though in some Maca as a few others recommended it to help keep the functionality of the penis.
Thanks again!

Whether you lose the joy in crossdressing I think really depends on your motive for crossdressing and the extent of brain rewiring you experience. I suspect you probably won't lose an interest in crossdressing, but it's not an unlikely possibility your feelings towards crossdressing may change as you pursue an NBE regime. For me I prefer having the brain rewiring effects over the sexual thrills of crossdressing. I wouldn't want to go back to the way things were before.

Hi Coolate,
I really can’t add much value here but I wanted to give you another reference point pertaining to non-functionality. I had some minor breast growth while taking SP and FG but no significant change in functionality or drive. I should also mention that I am taking a drug called finasteride for BPH. It is similar to SP and there is no doubt that the two of them significantly lowered my testosterone. I have only been on PM for three months now but functionality was one of my concerns from the beginning. Shortly after starting PM I felt tingling and itching in my breasts. I also experienced aches; sort of a bruising feeling, in my testicles. Without going into details, I have had penile. scrotum & testicle shrinkage. I no longer get spontaneous erections and my libido is much lower. Functionality is not as important to me now except in my mind. I have not lost interest in cross dressing and still want to become more female. I am very happy with my progress and I really like the new feelings in my breasts such to the extent that I really want to keep going. It’s almost a craving that I can’t satisfy. I know now that I am at the point that I have read about so many times. I have gone cold turkey and am taking sutea superba while I sort all of this out. There is no doubt, in my case, that I will lose functionality if I stay on PM.

Hello, Coolate, and welcome!

The "mental benefits" that most of the posts refer to is a reduction of the gender dysphoria or "gender identity disorder" that led most of us here in the first place. When I first joined I also wanted to be as feminine as possible. PM will go a long way toward making that happen, especially when combined with T-blockers (like SP).

However, very soon after I started taking PM the desire to be feminine reduced (a lot!) along with the anxiety that accompanied that desire. I also saw a dramatic drop in the desire to waste time looking at pornography and the desire to masturbate. That's the "mental benefit".

Now the ironic rub... the very substance that is feminizing me takes away the need to feminize. If I stop, however, the desire quickly returns. So in a way I am "addicted" to PM.

I hope this helps... good luck in your journey (wherever it leads)!

Misty

These observations exactly match my experience.
