For hair removal, have you looked at home IPL?  I am Caucasian with heavy dark hair (good candidate when not summer time.  Summertime i am really way to tan). Now my body is 99% hairless except my face.  Doing face now, but it very slow.

I used best in class IPL and cheap Amazon ones.  Cheap Amazon ones should be trown away after a few 100,000 flashes regardless of what they say.

I still had a few light small hairs on my knees and arms, but I used an epilator for those.  My lower belly had lighter hairs that i used an epilator on. After a few months those are gone for good now.

Today I only use an epilator once every 1 or 2 moths to catch a few little hairs here and there.  Like the ones you can get on your ears every once in a while that make no sense lol.

Skin is super smooth, I think some of that is from PM and MSM.  Not sure, but I do like it.

If you are a good candidate, you may want to try it.  It takes some personal time, but I am happy I did it.  The face may require professional help, which I am looking into, but seems to be confusing.

Hi Trayne, I’m using IPL over all my body too, and hairs have been quite disappeared, unfortunately on my chest I’ve white hairs, so IPL doesn’t work… I must wax them… I confirm that since the first days using PM my skin has become smoother and softener.

Understood, epilators are pretty cheap, and over time my little white hairs kind of stopped or really really slowed down.  It is pretty quick, easy and for light hairs not painful.  The only place I found an epilator painful was on the face.  Might save some money and time from waxing.  Just an idea.

I’ve also an electric epilator and I use it as you for some hairs here and there, I’ve tried on chest but it is very painful and gives me a lot of ingrown hairs…
Unfortunately I have a very sensitive skin.

About the chest hair, can you afford some electrolysis sessions? I swear electrolysis IS the best thing for reducing/eliminating hair on whatever area you want and it works wonderfully!!

The downside of course is you need to be patient, it takes 10 months and at least 4 full clearances in the area to see real improvements. But sooo worth it.  Heart Kiss

Hi SweetO, unfortunately where I live there aren’t electrolysis centres… In any case it would be very expensive.

DHEA creams are usually expensive, but they can be replaced cheaper and to reach a higher dose easily with micronised capsules, obviously opening the capsule and mixing the powder with something else. It absorbs really well when mixed with like progesterone cream or DMSO cream.

DHEA helps to reverse breast atropy, it elevates local estrogen levels and more. Its quite amazing when used topically.

Topical progesterone is amazing on reducing body hair because its really good local DHT blocker. I noticed this way before HRT when I first time tried topical prog.

Hi Lara, if it’s possible I would have another question for you… Progesterone cream can help to enlarge areolas too ? It would be fantastic… Thank you in advance  Kiss

Yes I think so, at least progesterone seems to often play a part with breast development stages, usually areolas widen a lot during Tanner stage four, and even more in stage five as that's when a lot of the side branchinh and fullness develops and progesterone is a key component of that.

This has been my personal experience too. I started prog at around month seven, then bovine ovary at month ten, which probably has similar composition/effect, and that was the time when Tanner four development kicked in and my areolas grew width rapidly. Since then this slowed down but it has taken several growth spurts later on, one of which seems to be happening right now as I'm likely entering early Tanner five development.

I think this is the effect of topical rpogesterone as part of the topical protocol at work. I'm sure Lotus could explain all this from the science stand point in very detailed way, but this is typical effect of progesterone to those who benefit from it. It has some variation for sure, but most trans women seem to get quite a boost from it and areola width is part of that.

So yes, it might do just that. Big Grin

Marcia ....

I've read in the past that BO can help widen areoles. I also know that Lotus has said many times that Progesterone is responsible. Lara is a good example of this as well.

Before NBE/HRT, I used to have tiny nipples. Around the 18th month mark of being on PM, I switched to BO and added Smoky Mountain Naturals Progesterone Cream. I soon started noticing that my areoles were expanding.

I've also seen other examples of people following this same practice that didn't get the same results that I did.

Here is a before & after photo example of myself.

Best of luck to you.
